Background:
It has come to our attention over the course of the past 24 hours, that Firstup Customers who do not have authenticated sender records (DMARC/SPF), have been receiving email from sendgrid.net as the fallback email sender domain. This domain is not currently listed on the email allowlisting article at https://support.firstup.io/hc/en-us/articles/4417455533975-Allowlist-Emails-from-Firstup or an any implementation guides.

Impact:
For any Customers that have allowlisted emails from the Firstup platform with sendgrid.net as a rule will need to update the allowlist to include email.socialchorus.com, and then remove the entry for sendgrid.net at the conclusion of this maintenance window. Failure to do so may negatively impact email delivery by blocking it entirely, or having a 3rd party email security platform quarantine or mark the email as spam.

Scope:
This maintenance only applies to Customers who do not have DMARC/SPF records configured, which is an ever shrinking number given the increasing importance of authenticated emails to fight back against spam, and phishing attacks.

Change:
During this change window, the default sender domain will be changed from sendgrid.net to email.socialchorus.com . Please have your IT team review this maintenance notification to see if there is any further action required.
